Idea Validation
Have a software idea but no technical co-founder? Find out whether it can be built, how, and what it will realistically take — before you pay developers.
Good fit if
- You're a non-technical founder about to hire a dev team or agency
- You need a technical plan to show investors or partners
- You want an independent view before comparing agency quotes
- You have a limited budget and need to know what MVP it can actually buy

What I do
Review and validate
I go through your idea and materials, ask clarifying questions, and check whether it can be built and what could go wrong.
Plan and estimate
Requirements, architecture and a detailed estimate. In the top tier, a roadmap plus mockups or a PoC, depending on what needs proving: the user experience or the technical feasibility.
Deliver and walk through
You get the PDF blueprint and supporting files, and we go through them together on a call.
What you get
Technical blueprint (PDF)
Verdict, risks, requirements and architecture, written for founders. Every decision is explained in business terms.
All tiers
Architecture diagrams
High-level system architecture: components, integrations and data flow. Delivered as editable diagrams.net (draw.io) files, so your dev team can build on them.
Technical Blueprint and above
WBS spreadsheet
Every feature broken into tasks with effort, timeline and team, so you can check agency quotes line by line.
Technical Blueprint and above
Mockups or proof of concept
Clickable mockups of key screens, or a simple PoC of the core flow, depending on what needs proving.
Blueprint + Mockups or PoC tier
Walkthrough call
We go through the results together, and you can ask anything.
60 to 120 minutes, depending on the tier
Sample report
Sample report based on a real engagement. Client name and identifying details have been changed.

- A description of your idea: what problem it solves, who will use it, and how this works today without software. The more detail, the more precise the blueprint.
- A list of the key features you have in mind. A rough list is fine.
- Anything you already have (notes, sketches, mockups, competitor links, agency quotes) and any constraints: budget, deadline, platforms, systems it must connect to.
FAQ
Do I need a technical background?
No. The blueprint is written for founders, not engineers. Technical details are there for your future dev team, but every decision is explained in business terms.
How accurate is the estimate?
It's a realistic range, not a fixed quote. It tells you whether you're looking at weeks or months and what effort to plan for, so you can judge agency quotes against it.
What if my idea turns out not to be feasible?
Then you find out before spending money on development. You'll get the reasons and, where possible, a simpler version that can be built.
Is my idea safe with you?
Yes. I'm happy to sign an NDA before you share details.
Can you also help build it?
Yes. Once you have the blueprint, we can discuss technical leadership or hands-on development as a separate engagement.
